R2TC Tour - Privacy Policy

R2TC Tour ("the app") is a private golf club app operated by River Gum Office Furniture Pty Ltd, trading as R2TC Tour ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the app and how we use it.

Information we collect

​

Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address, your name, and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see your password in plain text).

​

Golf data: scores, handicaps, round results, competition entries and course records that you or other members enter while using the app.

​

Messages and posts: messages you send to other members and posts or comments you make in the club feed.

​

Location: if you grant permission, the app uses your device's GPS position while the GPS screen is open, to show distances to the green. Location is used on your device only - it is not stored on our servers or shared.

Photos: if you choose to attach a photo to a post, that photo is uploaded and visible to other club members.

​

How we use your information

​

We use your information solely to operate the club: signing you in, recording and displaying scores and leaderboards, showing club history and records, and delivering messages between members. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host our data (Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and Google for spreadsheet-based club records).

Who can see your information

R2TC Tour is a private club app. Your name, handicap, scores and posts are visible to other signed-in club members. Nothing is publicly visible.

Data retention and deletion

​

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing andrew@r2tctour.com. We will delete your account data within 30 days of the request. Historical competition results may be retained in anonymised form.

Children

​

The app is intended for adult members of the R2TC golf club and is not directed at children under 13.

​

Security

​

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes

​

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
